The founder, Penny Smith, has worked with over 350 small businesses in the public and private sector whilst at Northamptonshire County Council and now has set up practice in Richmond, North Yorkshire.
Communication is key in any workplace, and Penny has made it her mission to navigate all kinds of communication styles. As someone who is autistic, she has studied and understands the nuances of communication, making her the perfect team player for both autistic and allistic individuals. With Penny on your team, you can rest assured that your communication needs will be met with ease.
Penny studied at the University of Leicester where she gained BA(Hons) degree in Law & DipC in counselling
After graduating Penny worked for Texaco Oil in their Payroll & Rewards department before moving into Local Government and looking after Employer/Employee rights and responsibilities.
Penny has qualifications in Support Development, Team Communication, EDI, Business English, Handling Team Member Problems, Safeguarding Adults, to be an effective Chairperson & Motivating your Team
Lately Penny has become a qualified Mentor & Coach, including workplace coaching for autistic people. Penny also sits on the Board of a European Equality NGO where she is responsible for Governance & Employment.
Working in the North Yorkshire countryside, for Penny, is a privilege and her aim is to help grow organisations and businesses in North Yorkshire.
Penny’s interests include walking with her golden retriever George and together they enjoy the magnificence of North Yorkshire as well as a spot of knitting & crocheting.
